Templeton’s is the vision and creation of my business partner, Matt Ball, the best contractor that ever was.
At the base of Spider Mountain in Burnet, TX, the only chair lift for mountain biking in Texas is Container
City, a rustic resort of shipping containers that Matt converted into luxurious cabins. Container city is a
stone’s throw from Lake Buchannon. In addition to pickleball and disc golf, the centerpiece is Templetons,
a bar and food truck also built out of shipping containers. Some may get Charlotte’s Web reference in the
name. I advised him a little on the build for this, and he later made me a small partner in this concept.
Templeton’s bar is what you’d expect out in the country. Lots of beers and refreshing cocktails, live music,
cornhole, and tourists and locals enjoying the great outdoors.
Open Thursday – Sunday only, Templeton’s food Truck is also an offshoot of Industry’s menu: smoked
wings, hand ground Texas Wagyu burgers, smoked chicken, award winning salsa, and the best queso in
town.
